Mikele Landa - Noka, 2023
Descripcion

Mikele Landa Eiguren (Bilbao, 1995) earned a Degree in Audiovisual Communications from the UPV-EHU and the School of Film at Karlstad University. Later, Landa specialised in Documentary and Experimental Film at Madrid’s Escuela TAI. During the 2021-2022 school year, Landa studied for a Post-Graduate Degree in Creation from the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola. Her first short film Heldu was presented at Zinebi (2018) and won Best Directing at Euskal Zine Bilera (2019). She has collaborated with various associations to create audiovisual pieces such as Mali, 10 urtetan; a piece Landa filmed and directed in Mali (2019). Her latest work Noizko basoa recently premièred at the San Sebastian Film Festival, and was screened at Zinebi and Punto de Vista. In addition to her career as a filmmaker, she has worked as a journalist at EiTB and the newspaper Berria. Landa is now working on her first feature film Senda through the Noka Mentoring and Elkarrekin Sortzen programmes.
