Mónica Arnanz

Mónica Arnanz (Madrid, 1996) graduated with a degree in Film from Camilo Jose Cela University, and finished her studies with a Major in Art Direction. Her first works as a fashion film director garnered nearly a half million views. 

Later, she moved over to fiction, with her first short film ‘Una Historia Azul’ (2021) earning support from the Community of Madrid and the ICAA. With this project, Lilac has participated in dozens of prestigious festivals such as Madrid’s Short Film Festival, FICIE, FESCIGU, IBICINE, and the Sonoma International Film Festival. She earned 3 nominations at the last edition of the Premios Fugaz, and won Best Short Film at the Ribadeo Festival.
