Lorea Alfaro

Artist. She lives in Bilbao.  She has exhibited in museums and galleries such as the CA2M, Artium, Guggenheim Bilbao, Tatjana Pieters and Elba Benítez, among others. Her participation in the 5th edition of the Pantalla Fantasma International Film Festival and her interventions in spaces such as Bulegoa z/b and the CarrerasMugica gallery must be highlighted. Among her collaborations, stand-apart work include that completed for Eremuak #2 (2015), El estado mental #7 (2015), Jumbo, together with June Crespo, in IASPIS, Stockholm (2014), Again Again(st) by Pablo Marte and Consonni (2013), Erreakzioa-Reacción (2012), and TEXTO (2012).

Lorea Alfaro’s most recent works have been presented in the exhibitions 2020, together with Jon Otamendi (Fundación Joan Miró, 2021), Un mundo sin cualidades (the CarrerasMugica gallery, 2020), and No lo banalices (the CarrerasMugica gallery, 2018, 948 Merkatua, 2019). Since 2014, she has been working through the hollow brand LA (3l3a).
