The registration period will run from 28th August to 2nd October 2023, at 12pm, noon [UTC+1]. The resolution of the open call will be communicated on 3rd November, 2023. The selected candidate will have one week after notice to accept the residency
The application should be done through Tabakalera's website. Fill in the form provided online and attach the following documentation, in the specific order determined below:
- Contact details: first name, surname, address, email, contact telephone number. If the selected project has been proposed by a group, a single representative should be named here as a spokesperson for the project.
- Explanation of the project and motivation for carrying out the phase of the project that you want to work on during the residency at Tabakalera, (minimum 500 words, maximum 1,000 words).
- Any images or other material available that help to illustrate the project.
- Presentation of at least 4 previously developed works, with images of each one of them.
- Presentation of an approximate budget for the period of the residency at Tabakalera, as well as an estimate of all the requirements.
- Estimated work timetable during the residency.
- CV and short biography or corporate historical (500 words).
The documentation must be submitted as one only documentation in PDF format (maximum size 10MB, 10 pages), and it should be written in Spanish, Basque or English, and if it is written in Basque or Spanish, it must also include a brief in English. If it is not like that the jury reserve the right to reject the presented project. The dossier must be named as following: name_lastname_modality; for example: martin_bilbao_artistic_project.
