Pez Estudio

Pezestudio.org is a creative cell of architects that created in 2006 that develops projects of Urbanism, Architecture, Design and Action-Research. We design objects, tools, spaces and practices that promote minimum human impact on the environment, social development, research and production of innovative construction techniques and the generation of collaborative contexts. They work around concepts such as ecology and society, rural and urban habitats and lifestyles, tradition and technology, reuse and standardization, crafts and do it yourself / do it together, Open source and participation. We explore and rehearse the possibilities of architecture, design and urbanism as tools for development and social change.

They have developed exhibitions, conferences and workshops in international artistic and academic institutions in Europe, North and Latin America. As part of Inteligencias Colectivas project we participated in 2014-2015 in Uneven Growth exhibition in the Museum of Modern Art of New York (USA) and developed workshops in NYC MoMA and Shenzhen (China). We have developed Agronautas project since 2011 through collaborative processes and workshops in Bilbao Bilbao, Eibar, Vitoria, Madrid, Málaga, Barcelona, Villena, Reykjavik, Stockholm, Paris and Lima. Agronautas project is Finalist in Arquia/Próxima 2016 Prize.
