For quite some time, Marion Hänsel had been fascinated on trips and shoots by the clouds that she contemplated, photographed, and, sometimes, filmed.

From this contemplation arises the very simple and daring idea of dedicating a full-length feature film to clouds that have no other pretension than making the spectator dream.

The film is based on letters written to his son from the time of his conception. Love letters that dot the film with small touches of intimacy, tenderness, pain, and happiness.
