As a screenwriter and director, in 2018 he shot his first fiction short film entitled Jesus is B(l)ack, which won the Best Young Filmmaker award at the U22 Film Fest. In 2019 he shot his second short film Infraganti, which was a finalist at the 2019 edition of the Notodofilmfest and won the Audience Award at the Donosskino festival. In 2021 he shot the short film Txoriak Txori, which was selected 15 times . His latest short film Deadly Draw (Sorteo Mortal) 2023, which was selected for the Kimuak catalogue of Basque short films, has already been selected more than 30 times. He has written and directed several award-winning video clips: Liher - Teloia, Niña Coyote eta Chica Tornado (a piece made up of two video clips), Bele - Zerua Irabazi and Erromintxelak - Esperoan. In 2023 he directed the spot for the KZ Gunea campaign.
He had the opportunity to learn the craft of filmmaking from the inside, working on the directing team of films and series such as: Vitoria 3 de Marzo (Victor Cabaco), El Doble más quince (Mikel Rueda), Ane (David P. Sañudo), Ilargi Guztiak (Igor Legarreta), Descarrilados (Fer García Ruiz), Voy a Pasármelo Bien (David Serrano), ¿Es el Enemigo? (Alexis Morante), El Buen Patrón (Fernando León de Aranoa), Maixabel (Iciar Bollaín), La Fortuna (Alejandro Amenabar), Intimidad (Netflix), Apagón (Movistar+) and Balenciaga (Moriarti/Disney+).
In 2024 he directed the second unit of the series Zeru Ahoak by Koldo Almandoz, produced by Txintxua films (Intimidad, Ondar Ahoak, Oreina, Karmele etc.). Recently, his feature film project Sasia Sutan (La Zarza que Arde) has been selected for the Gidoi Mentoring programme of the Basque Scriptwriters' Association.
