Oihane Espúñez

Trained in fine arts and stage arts, she has developed her practice in various fields including international cooperation, educational intervention and community arts projects. She co-founded the artistic collective Mobiolak, using this to link arts and social transformation initiatives through methodologies such as the theatre of the oppressed, participative video and community theatre, amongst others. She has worked with various groups including adolescents, young children and seniors. During 2015 and 2016 she was part of the San Sebastián 2016, European Capital of Culture project, and worked mainly on involving local people in creative processes through artistic residencies in local facilities.
