Olatz González Abrisketa

A Professor of Social Anthropology at the UPV/EHU and President of the Basque Anthropology Association, Ankulegi. She is the author of Pelota Vasca: un ritual, una estética (2005) and Raquetistas. Gloria, represión y olvido de las pelotaris profesionales (2022). She also directed the film Pelota II (2015) together with Jørgen Leth, and this year's upcoming release Pizti bat agian together with Ainhoa Gutiérrez. Above all, her research has focused on sport, sexual solidarity, interspecies relationships, and film.
