This call aims to support the development of artistic projects in any format, regardless of the artistic discipline, while also seeking to reinforce the local artistic fabric and encourage exchanges between communities of artists.
This call is open to all physical or legal persons, living in Basque Autonomous Community, national or international. Three projects will be selected.
The residency, which will last eleven weeks, will offer space, context and time for the development of an artistic project, and it will take place from January 8th to 24th March, 2024.
The documentation must be submitted as one only documentation in PDF format (maximum size 10MB, 10 pages), and it should be written in Spanish, Basque or English, and if it is written in Basque or Spanish, it must also include a brief in English.
RESOLUTION OF THE OPEN CALL
On 2nd November the committee conformed by Bárbara Rodríguez (Artistic director of the Botín Foundation), Maider López (artist) and Peio Aguirre (curator and editor), met to select the projects that will be part of the Residency for Artistic Projects next winter 2024 (January-March).
Having evaluated all the proposals, the committee selected the following projects:
