Paloma Mora has a degree in Media Science and a PhD in Audiovisual Communication. She has a wide professional experience and for over two decades she has produced and directed several audiovisual formats in Spain and overseas.

She founded her first production company in 1999 (CREATELE Producciones) and, for almost a decade, she directed and produced more than 20 entertainment programmes, inside and outside of Spain, such as Numbers Rojos, Piano-Piano, Parcheesi, Flash Back , Double Game, ... She had her first experience in fiction as creator and scriptwriter of the series En el Aire in 2006.

In 2008 she founded TV ON Producciones and began to produce fiction feature films: The Other Shoe, A soft smell of cinnamon, Love is not what it was or BRAVA; and documentaries and series such as Tierra sin mal, Tierra Quemada or Valentes (26 x 30min). Since 2017, she has produced short films and animation series: El Diario de Bita y Cora (52 x 5 min), Sex Symbols (26 x 7 min), El criptozoólogo or Trazo Critico.

All these productions have been selected to take part in international festivals and forums and have been broadcasted by different TV networks.

She is currently working on the pre-production and development of a long fiction feature, animation series and fiction series such as PRINT! which has been selected in mentoring programmes as 2deo Serieak or Hamburg Series Lab.

 

María Mínguez (Valencia, 1982) holds a degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, and trained as a screenwriter at the New York Film Academy with a Fulbright scholarship. She has been working as a screenwriter since 2007, when she began writing comedy sketches for programmes like “Autoindefinits” and “Socarrats”, which were successful on Valencian public television. Since 2010, María has been writing her own full-length feature film scripts, which have been selected by the laboratories of Ibermedia, Sources 2, Sgae, and CIMA, and earned her a spot as a finalist for Launch Pad from The Tracking Board, one of the United States’ most prestigious screenwriting awards. In 2019, she released her first film as a screenwriter, “Live Twice, Love Once” directed by María Ripoll, which was nominated for the Premios Forqué and won Best Script and Best Film from the Academia Valenciana del Audiovisual. In 2020, the film "Instant Love" was released, which she co-wrote and won Best Comedy for at the Cinequest festival in the US. María was also a screenwriter for the comedy series "La Forastera” in 2018, which is from À Punt Mèdia and broadcast on TV3. She is also the creator of another series in development for the same channel. María currently teaches classes for the Script and Filmmaking Master’s programme at Valencia’s Barreira school, and is developing series and films with producers such as Convoy, The Immigrant, TV On, and Inicia Films. She is also preparing her directorial début on the film “Después de Hugo”, together with production company Filmeu.

 

PRINT!

The working-class Martínez family face economic hardship after the father is fired from the printing company where he was working. Fate and chance turn them into accidental note counterfeiters. The family will have to keep their secret and begin living a double life to avoid being found out. A detective, who is the sister-in-law’s boyfriend, and a gossipy neighbour are on their trail.
