pantea is a multi-disciplinary and sound artist from Iran who works with narratives of ecological and more-than-human connection. Her passions include the environment, plants, and wetlands. As a socially engaged artist, pantea’s practice unfolds through shared and collective spaces, collaborating with others in a process of learning through action and exploring the potential of sound and listening. She participates in various collective projects, including Khamoosh, dedicated to preserving and archiving Iranian sound heritage; Soundcamp - which focuses on live transmission; as well as Acoustics Commons - and the Radio Web MACBA Working Group. pantea has exhibited internationally in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Turkey, Iran, and India.
