Pau Castejón Úbeda (1977) is a cinematographer born and based in Barcelona, Spain.  He’s got a degree in Cinematography by ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia, Barcelona, 2000).
After school, he won an Ibermedia scholarship and moved to Mexico City. There, he joined the one year Documentary Specialized Course at CCC (Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica). While in Mexico, Pau Castejón directed and photographed "Wirikuta, zona tórrida" a short documentary film very well received in many international festivals. He started working in camera and lighting crews and since 2004 he works as a professional film, documentary and commercials cinematographer. When he signs the cinematography, he usually operates the camera himself, but he has also operated for other cinematographers. He has worked on several international projects with established and reputable production companies like Partizan, Canada, Colonel Blimp, Somesuch and Co, Pretty Bird, RSA Films, Epoch Films or Wanda Paris. In 2013 he shot his first two feature films. He is able to work in Spanish, English, French and Catalan speaking contexts. In 2006 he started teaching Cinematography at ESCAC.
He is an AEC (Spanish Society of Cinematographers) associated member.
