Somsons #2 is a utopia of sound, and I invite the public to enjoy it.
Somsons #2 is a space that is created over the course of 20 minutes with voices and our way of listening to them. In this space, visitors can intervene in the mass of sound in which I will put myself on display.
Everyone can talk, emit sound, and speak words. Taking voices and listening to them as a starting point, what I am interested in is observing this energy as a structural form: energy that transforms the physical space and the relationships between protagonists.
There is no direction, and no time structure that anticipates this form. This is utopia. The form will emerge and evolve according to the quality of our listening.
This performance is framed in the continuation of long-spanning research that culminated last year thanks to my involvement in a Master's programme on voices and their power relationships.
