Nelly is eight years old and has just lost her grandmother. While helping her parents empty the house where her mother grew up, she intriguesly explores the forest that surrounds it, where her mother used to play as a child. There Nelly meets another girl her age and the immediate connection between the two gives way to a beautiful friendship. Together they build a cabin in the forest and, between games and confidences, they will reveal a fascinating secret. Despite the family circumstances, the trip becomes an exciting adventure for Nelly, who will marvel at her mother's universe when she was little, and will be able to connect with her in a magical and unusual way.
