Though we didn’t know one another, we both did the BilbaoArte residency the same year. During that time, several people told us that there were connections between our work. We met personally during the doors open day of the residency and realised that we shared similar tastes and backgrounds. From there, we started asking each other questions via email. After nine months, we decided to use the fertile material that came out of our email conversation as the basis for the residency project in Tabakalera.
