This workshop will teach attendees about the possibilities of Raspberry Pi, a very cheap board computer developed in the UK, initially as an introduction to computing.
Raspberry Pi is a free hardware project and a non-profit initiative formed by a group of academics from Cambridge. It includes GPL licences with free software and hardware, in line with projects such as Linux and Arduino. Thanks to its low price and rapid expansion, it has enabled the development of a large number and types of projects. During the two workshop sessions (February 23 and March 2), we will offer an introduction to the features and different types of boards and learn about some of the more popular projects and experiments.
