Re-grouping, Lizzie Borden, USA, 1976, 80', OV with Spanish subtitles, 16 mm

Cinéma vérité style documentary (shot in 16mm and in black and white) that explores the dynamics of a group of women artists in their mid-twenties who decide to create a sisterhood. Joan Jonas, Barbara Kruger and Kathryn Bigelow, among others, are part of the cast. The result is an alternative portrait of the world of art, a world that Lizzie Borden knows from within, which attempts to offer a female response to an art scene hitherto subordinated to male voices.
