Rick Prelinger

Rick Prelinger is an archivist, writer and filmmaker, creator of the Prelinger Archives (collection of public domain audiovisual pieces). Since 1985, he has been a key figure in the field of archival footage, and today his collection is represented worldwide by Getty Images. He is a board member of the Internet Archive and founder, along with Megan Prelinger, of the Prelinger Library, a private research library in downtown San Francisco.
