Scratch Day is an idea created and developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group of the MIT Lab Happens. It consists of a day celebrated in the whole world joining in an event to people who are interested in sharing learning and to learn sharing, always using as common link Scratch. Scratch is an IT language of programming, specially directed to the youngest and that every time is used more in the education. Using a simple interface you can explore concepts of programming and work logic and creativity.
This year, Scratch Day is celebrated on May 14 and once again, Tabakalera adds to the acts, in this occasion, organizing activities, courses and exhibitions on this language of programming.
From the Laboratory Hirikilabs we want to orientate this Scratch Eguna to the education. On the one hand, we are going to offer a workshop directed to the teachers, and on the other hand, we have organized a fair to expose the school projects created with Scratch. There, the students of the schools will show to people who approach his projects done with Scratch, and there will be different workshops to learn and to amuse ourselves with this language of programming.
*Note: All the schools that have developed some project developed with Scratch and want to present they are invited to put a stand in Tabakalera on May 14, previous request this application form: Scratch Eguna 2016.
Tabakalera adds to the acts of celebration of the Scratch Day organizing a fair, courses and exhibitions on this language of programming.
