Lizzy (Michelle Williams) is a sculptor with family problems who rents a house with a workshop to Jo, also an artist. Between the two there is a relationship of rivalry and tension that is accentuated due to a breakdown that Jo has not quite fixed. One day, a pigeon enters Lizzy's house and her cat hurts it. The animal's cure will suddenly become another conflict between the two artists, who are awaiting imminent exhibitions.

The acclaimed queen of indie, Kelly Reichardt, returns with this small film about adrift characters that passed through Cannes, is nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards and has been considered one of the ten best films of the year by Cahiers du Cinema.
