Silvia D’Intino

Tenured Researcher at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) since 2009. Her work focuses on India, specifically Vedic philology and poetry and the intellectual history of India. Since 2011 she has co-directed a comparative and inter-disciplinary research programme at the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris called “Practising comparatism: texts, territories and artefacts”. She is Assistant Director of the “Anthropologie et Histoire des Mondes Anciens” (ANHIMA) research group and her most recent scientific publications include a collective volume coordinated with Sheldon Pollock, titled L’espace du sens. Approches de la philologie indienne (Collège de France/ De Boccard, 2018).
