Situ-akzioak is a space for engaging the senses, enjoying art, learning, and experimenting. Its design was made in a participatory process with families. The goal was to create a place for sensory exploration, for building, transforming, and playing together.
At its core, the proposal takes inspiration from the drawings and methodology of healer and researcher Emma Kunz (Switzerland, 1892-1963). Kunz used drawing as a way to heal those that came to her, reading their energy fields and drawing geometric diagrams, always with the help of her pendulum.
In this landscape for experimentation we will find varied, colouristic geometric forms, along with references to nature, medicine, and botany. Like a spider web, the artist’s drawings extend out in three dimensions through threads of colour.
All the elements, materials and textures are aimed to activate the senses and help us to discover infinite ways of exploring and moving through space: rolling down the slope of a mountain, swinging from pendulums, entering a cave and listening to its sounds...
