Shot in two days in my hometown in New Jersey in February 2012, Broken Specs follows a day in the life of Mike after he breaks his glasses in a strip mall parking lot. 

Travel Plans 2013, 7 min., 16mm, color, optical sound

Shot over two more cold winter days in January 2013, Travel Plans returns to my hometown to follow two days in the life of Rob after he enters a contest for a vacation to Atlantic City. 

Going Out 2015, 8 min., 16mm, color, optical sound

Shot on two mildly cold winter days in March 2014, Going Out focuses on Liz, who goes out on a date with Rob, but winds up driving home from the bar with Mike.

Short Stay 2016, 61 min., Super 16mm, color, optical sound

At the start of Short Stay, Mike is still living at home in his small town, but his friend Mark soon offers to sublet him his room in nearby Philadelphia for a few months while he travels.  He offers Mike some work too: giving tours of historic Philly.  Despite the warm summer days, things turn sour fast: Mark comes back sooner than planned, but Mike is not ready to leave.
