Social Skills is a composition in which a large international group of improvising dancers share a viable vision of a cooperative and imaginative future based on mutual support and spontaneous creation.It is an environment of contact without threat, closeness without conflict, and individual expression within collective action. Highlights of the 60-day Workshop led by dancer/choreographer/pedagogue David Zambrano at his Brussels art center Tic Tac (October through mid-December 2019) were shot on 16mm. Studying the footage and composing from it this film provided solace and comfort during these unexpectedly prolonged times of social isolation.

Portrait of Rotterdam theater maker Paul Röttger, whose work has focused on inclusion for the past thirty years. The main thread of the film is the rehearsals of Theater Babel Rotterdam, the theater company of which he is director, which puts on some 150 productions a year. Röttger previously directed Rotterdams Centrum voor Theater and Theater Maatwerk (Rotterdam Theater Center and Theater Maatwerk). The documentary shows his ongoing quest for equal artistic collaboration between people of very different genders, cultural backgrounds, and physical and mental conditions.
