Vampyring is the second part of Transición primaveral (Spring Transition), a research project looking at vampirism and its relationship with queer/cuir culture, autobiography
and body memory. In this research project, the artist proposes a remake of sorts of her childhood experience to reconnect and reconfigure her personal story of vampirism. She draws on a series of interviews by collaborating artist Eszter Katalin in which questions about non image, reflection, desire, borders, violence and fiction resurface for a performative response.
