Stephan Panhans

Stefan Panhans is an artist living and working in Hamburg, Berlin and elsewhere. He predominantely works with video and photography. His artistic research undertakes a kind of mental archeology of contemporary hypermediatization and digitalization and its effects on our minds and bodies as well as its power relations. Furthermore It negotiates phenomena like increasing everyday racism, celebrity worship, stereotypes and postcolonial diversity issues.
