Susana San José (1982, Querétaro, Mexico) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work encompasses music, performing arts and sound art. Musically trained in singing, cello and composition, she has contributed to the Mexico City music scene with recordings and albums of rock music. Her curriculum also includes notable film awards, for films such as Como Perros y Gatos, nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 2012 Ariel Awards. And she starred in Dialogues of a Sad Couple, an award winner at the Ibero-American Short Film Festival ABC in 2013, and contributed music to Revoltoso, which won an award at the Sydney Independent Film Festival in Brooklyn in 2016.

Currently based in San Sebastian, Spain, her focus is expanding to incorporate contemporary art. She has presented sound art and performance pieces in San Sebastian and Berlin.
