Transe is Sònia's trip from San Petersburgo to Portugal. Sònia's trajectory through different countries from Europe and her descent to hell as a sexual slave. Teresa Villaverde presents a double portrait, a twenty year old girl's calvary and, in the same time, a cruel Europe where the most weaks are exploited.
The film was part of the Cannes Quinzaine des Réalisateurs 2006.
