The area around Chateau d'Abbadie holds a collection of apple trees dating back to various times in the Basque Country’s history, reminding us of the importance of looking after the thread of rural memory during times of land break-up and cultural homogenisation.
The people entrusted with looking after the trees will teach us about this living collection whilst we share reflections with people and collectives linked to the world of art and contemporary culture in the French Basque Country.
