I've recently completed watercolours of flowers made from photographs, and later abstract watercolours with saturated colours. Now I'm interested in painting from the real object, and the result can be a mix between the figurative and the abstract. To do this, I will pay attention to the description that the banana created through sight, but also through touch. In addition, I will do the same description exercise with what emerges from the image created in watercolour, and I will try different dampnesses, amounts of colour, speed, slowness, violence, or softness of stroke, with the goal of discovering and experimenting with the technique that I want to use to paint.
I will start painting a banana from a real one. Perhaps a kiwi or an apple, although I won't just paint fruit.
