The main focus of Hodoscek’s practice is exploring different concepts of learning and modes of producing knowledge. She observes different social groups within learning environments, or she creates situations where a certain type of learning takes place. She is most interested in the notion of the tacit; a knowledge hidden, however deeply embedded in the practice of every day life. In her work she is looking into moments and situations where the tacit becomes visible. During the residency Hodoscek will develop a project that looks into the material traces of learning/knowledge in order to imagine a prop or stage for fostering learning. Looking into various archive materials she will produce a set of collages combining photographic archive, found footage and text.
