Yolanda Arrieta Malaxetxebarria

She studied Teaching, Theatre and Social and Cultural Anthropology. She organises creative writing workshops for children and has published several children’s, young adult and adult books. She received the Euskadi children’s and young adult literature Award in 2015 for Argiaren alaba.

She organises sessions with parents to bring children closer to literature. She also makes educational material. She lives off stories, faithful to her motto: bread for the body, friends for the heart and stories for the soul.

She has recently published a picture book called Luna-cuna, with echoes of traditional Basque lullabies and illustrations by Aitziber Alonso.
