In a country ruled by an alleged democracy, but dominated by police and military forces, an opposition deputy is killed in the street when he had just presided over a rally of a pacifist nature. The murder, allegedly committed by exalted from a far-right group, is covered up by the government and the military. But the investigation of the case will be entrusted to a young magistrate who will investigate the murky matter with the help of a graphic journalist.
