Descripción
Miriam Isasi Arce’s work is the fruit of dialogues she establishes with the nature that surrounds her and which she observes and listens to actively. The artist creates narrations based on research into the mythology of our land, the traditions of our ancestors, the plants that surround us and the beings with whom we cohabit. Isasi created a sculpture specifically for the exhibition, Viscum album (2021), using metals linked to alchemy and transformation such as gold, silver, and bronze in the form of a branch of mistletoe, a plant which, among other things, is a symbol of protection.
