Ana Belén Ríos Hilario

Professor Dr. of the University of Salamanca and Assistant director of the Department of Library Science and Documentation of the same University.

Her teaching and research work focuses on documentary access and description. She participates in national and international research projects. The result of these tasks is the publication of several works in books and journals  of different fields. Furthermore, her contribution at professional meetings, the courses she teaches and the conferences she gives are also noteworthy. Currently, her research work focuses on the study of linked data (Linked Open Data-LOD) and its application in the field of heritage institutions; and on the role to be played by libraries and librarians in the context of Big Data.
