Antonio Casado da Rocha holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of the Basque Country, where he is currently a professor.

He researches contemporary ethical questions and communities of practice. He is the former director of Basque Language and Culture on the Gipuzkoa campus and is one of the founders of Unibertsitate Eszena Arteak - unea (University Performance Arts Association). His latest book: Una casa en Walden y otros ensayos de cultura contemporánea (Pepitas, 2017).
