Antton Goikoetxea Ayastuy, 1990. Antton Goikoetxea Ayastuy earned his BA in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country in 2013. He completed his Masters in Compulsory Secondary Education Teacher Training the following year, which led him to work as an educator at Artium Centre - Basque Museum of Contemporary Art until 2021. During that time, he balanced education with music, working on musical projects such as Leun, Lukiek, and Sara Zozaya, recording various records and touring throughout the Basque Country, Spain, and several other European countries. Those years also saw him lead workshops in different artistic spheres including sculpture, design, drawing, and music. Of particular note were the experimental music workshops he led within the Magnet-Erakarri project promoted by the Basque Government in collaboration with the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council. Since 2019, Antton Goikoetxea Ayastuy has combined music with 3D design and modelling, working with musical groups such as Belako, Huntza, Eusko Princess, Irenen3s, Asfáltica, Otoi, and Cecilia Payne, and collaborating with audiovisual producers including Arriguri and organisations such as Dabadaba. During that time, he has also collaborated on projects from artists Zuhar Iruretagoiena, Raquel Asensi, and Maria Muriedas. He is currently developing his personal work, with his latest artistic projects focusing on the relationship between digital and traditional sculpture though 3D printing and modelling.
