Architectus Omnibus? is an exhibition that shows the result of the open call to architecture studios and students to propose new responses to the needs of society. The project is based on a decalogue of ten concepts designed by the architect Andrés Jaque and the ten projects selected show various proposals from Spanish and German architects, pursuing the sustainable awareness of architecture through new attitudes and ways of understanding the profession.
The exhibition offers examples of creative responses to the current needs of society, architecture in the context of social responsibility and in which creativity manifests itself both in results and in work methods. Multidisciplinary skills, collaborative practices, recycling, sustainability, innovation, ecology, experimentation, recontextualisation and self-builds are some of the bases for these proposals, which are committed to returning to what is close and local, to empowering citizens and regenerating the city.
The project falls within the 6th German-Spanish Cultural Encounter organised by the Goethe-Institut and the Instituto Cervantes in 2015.
