Born in the north of Italy, currently based in Bruxelles. I spent my formative years playing around the many abandoned industrial buildings of my hometown. Exploring, skateboarding, and painting graffiti fuelled my fascination with the built environment and interest towards informal uses of urban spaces, shaping my artistic perspective. In 2018, I moved to study Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, and developed a multi-disciplinary approach that encompasses photography, sculptural / assemblage work, mural painting, publishing and organisation of outdoor exhibitions. My artistic practice relies on urban exploration as a tool to observe, question, and react to the built environment. Closely observing industries, construction sites, infrastructures and wastelands, I aim at discovering some insight on human relation with the landscape, on how technical thinking is impacting our environment, and how this existing spaces and structures can be tought beyond their mere function.
