
Claudix Vanesix is a performance, Extended Realities and Artificial Intelligence artist. Her/His work challenges sexism and racism in digital social life and reflects on its impact on the physical world. Claudix creates performance and Virtual Reality art that challenges the narrative of technological inevitability by blending new technologies with ancient traditions. Her/His recent work is a provocation on the human embodiment of Extended Reality and Artificial Intelligence, as a form of liberal Transhumanism.
Claudix's work has been awarded and presented in galleries and festivals in Latin America, United States, Europe and Asia. The New Media performance “NFTs: Tokens No Fornicables” has been presented at Ars Electronica Festival, Image Festival, SXSW, Tabakalera, Hebbel Am Ufer, DOCK11, Videodrome2, FACT and more. Her/His first VR film “Permission to Dance (Denied)” premiered at IDFA and was presented at Cartagena de Indias, DocEdge, Paris New Images Festival, La Mama NY, among others.
