At the Artists’ Space, on 2015 we started the curating programme, a line of work dedicated to studying and reflecting on curatorial practices, as well as those matters which transversally and tangentially establish contact with these: criticism, research, production and mediation. This programme is aimed at local, national and international people who intend to dedicate themselves professionally to curatorial practice.
At four different points over the next two years, we propose to organize four modules addressing different types of curating study and practice. Without wishing to segment or compartmentalize the subject, we propose to devote each of the modules to different ways of understanding, addressing and performing the practice of curating. Professionals from the industry will be invited to design each module and can invite two other professionals to provide additional content.

Each module may comprise presentations, workshops or lectures, as proposed by each coordinator. These sessions will serve to address the issues of curating from different perspectives and manners, both theoretical and practical. With a maximum of 20 participants, the 5-day modules will be independent of one another and will run from Monday to Friday, with morning and evening sessions.
This programme is aimed at people who intend to dedicate themselves professionally to curatorial practice.
