(Bilbao, 1987) holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a focus on Contemporary Art Theory and Aesthetics. In addition, Pascual has completed two master’s programmes, one in Contemporary Philosophy and another in Contemporary Art Theory, in collaboration with Barcelona’s MACBA, Picasso Museum, and Fundación Miró. Her thesis is focused on analysing the connection between art and politics in the Basque Country. She has participated in and written articles for various conferences specialised in contemporary art and philosophy, writing on contemporary aesthetics. Pascual has also collaborated with other artists and the Agora philosophy association, which has the aim of bringing philosophy to non-academic spaces. She works as a secondary education teacher of philosophy.
