(Irún, 1984) his practice has progressively focused on the ways in which images, objects, spaces, and people are related. His way of working is hybridised in different disciplines that take up the question of relationship, the “in between”, and different ways of addressing this. Gómez has worked on this notion through film, artistic practice, curating, mediation, and writing. He holds a BA in Fine Arts from the UB, earned a Master’s Degree in Art Creation and Research from the UPV/EHU, and completed Contemporary Art Curating Professionalisation and Criticism at the NODE centre (Berlin). He has completed various curatorial and meditation projects in context at Azkuna Zentroa-Alhóndiga Bilbao, Feria ARCO-Lisboa, Sala Rekalde, and Arteleku. Gómez is the President of the Obrador Cultural Association (Bilbao), where he curates the association’s annual exhibition programme together with its members.
