Lea Marie Uria Garcia

Lea Marie Uria Garcia is a writer, journalist, musician, performer, DJ, and LGBT+ activist. The artist was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and is based in Berlin (Germany), where she has participated in various experimental music and performance projects. As a musician, Uria Garcia was a resident at the BEK Electronic Art Centre in Bergen (Norway), and was part of the Basque-language experimental electronic duo Gauak (gauak.bandcamp.com) with Naia Burucoa in May and June 2023. Uria Garcia is currently finishing her Master’s Degree in Performative, Technological, and Contemporary Art at the University of the Basque Country.
