Our work comes from the pull of one person's work on the other’s. From this arises a common vision to merge both disciplines and work on the concept of ‘illustrated theatre’.
The starting point of this project is a story for adults written by Silvia and a series of sketches created by Naiara for the story. Combining our work creates in us the possibility and desire to take a step further, to unite our work and ourselves and develop new concepts.
Our aim is to interact between disciplines and blend the possibilities that arise. Rather than two independent projects, our pieces complement and influence one another and leave their mark. External forces act constantly on each other’s work. It’s about illustrating a live arts performance, without paper, and in the broadest sense of the word, thus creating a symbolic space in which theatre and writing become an image through the performance and the happening.
