Virgil Vernier brings us, once more, a story set between the mythical and the contemporary, between the very definite and the mysterious. Joane and Lisa work in the Mercuriales Towers on the outskirts of Paris. Lisa is from Moldova and obsessed by the memory of a cousin who had migrated to France and disappeared without leaving a trace. Joane is French and simultaneously seeking fame, fortune and a meaning to her life. Both share views on Paris and a trip to a border.
