Miren Bayona (Bilbao, 1989) graduated in Art from the UPV-EHU and continued her studies in Arts and Education at the University of Barcelona. For four years she has been part of the Catalan artistic and cultural mediation entity Sinapsis, getting involved in the independent magazine Polièdrica on art, education, mediation and cultural rights. In 2022 she moved back to Bilbao and took a Master's degree in Practice and Theory in Contemporary Arts and Culture at Azkuna Zentroa, carrying out research on the recent evolution of art education and cultural mediation in the Basque Country. In 2023, together with Paula Cárcamo, she set up the programme of collective residencies «en obras» that accompanies the process of transformation of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum.
