In parallel to the open group on Citizen Environmental Research run by IMVEC in Hirikilabs (San Sebastián) and Hangar (Barcelona), there will be two workshops in May and June on the study of mud.
The study may be relevant for those with an interest in environmental issues or in analysing the life in mud microfossils (foraminifera). Over the two sessions in this initial programme we will learn how to construct the material needed for mud sampling. We will collect samples from the bends of the Urumea river and subsequently study these and draw conclusions.
