Musika dena eta eszena: Ragnhild May and Juan Mari Beltran duo

To present the third installation of this year's Scala, we will have two musical projects on the opening day: Ragnhild May and Juan Mari Beltran duo.

Ragnhild May will present her piece Institutional Critique for Kindergarten for recorders and pneumatic system. This work approaches the sound in an experimental way, with a feminist attitude.

Juan Mari Beltran, on the other hand, under the title of Txio-Txioka, will offer a performance based on various types of flute sound games, together with the musician Errege Belda. In this work, through several free plays, we will be able to listen to music created for three different environments.

At the end of the two performances, the three musicians will develop an improvisation together.
